Front Desk Receptionist

INTRO AND JOB OVERVIEW:

Are you someone who loves helping people feel welcomed, cared for, and confident from the moment they walk in the door? Cornerstone Wellness Center is an expanding natural healthcare facility looking for a warm, organized, and mission-minded Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant to be the first friendly face of our practice. This role is ideal for someone who brings clarity, confidence, and care to a fast-paced front office while reflecting our core values of stewardship, diligent service, integrity, growth mindset, excellence, and gratitude. The right person is dependable, nurturing, mentally sharp, detail-oriented, strong with computers, comfortable with basic math and financial accuracy, and able to communicate clearly with patients and teammates. BENEFITS AND PAY RANGE:

$20/hour base pay (plus bonus structure after 6 months). Pay Range $20-25. Must be able to work Monday-Thursday 8:00am -6:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Welcome new patients, create a positive first impression, and assist with intake paperwork.
Keep patients on track with prescribed care and maintain accurate charts.
Follow up with and schedule potential patients by phone or digital communication.
Enter patient demographics and data into electronic health records.
Manage voicemails, emails, and mail with professionalism, confidentiality, and follow-through.
Maintain statistics, patient files, treatment plans, and daily schedules.
Participate in team trainings, goal setting, role play, and script practice with a growth mindset.
Keep the front office clean, organized, welcoming, and reflective of excellent patient care.
Use EHR, Word/Excel, and digital platforms accurately and efficiently.
Prepare patient paperwork, schedules, financial information, and related files.
Verify insurance benefits through online portals and phone calls.
Answer phones, reschedule appointments, support new patient calls, and handle objections professionally.
Receive payments, post to accounts, and support accurate financial records.
Complete financial processing, payment collection, and ledger balancing with accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare end-of-day reports, huddle sheets, statistics, and tracking tools with numerical accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Trustworthy, ethical, and respectful of confidential patient and business information.
Cooperative, feedback-oriented, growth-minded, and able to solve problems well.
Strong mental clarity, judgment, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Comfortable with basic math, payment posting, balancing totals, reports, and billing accuracy

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, EHR, online portals, payment systems, and new technology.
Confident, professional phone skills.
Able to work at a fast pace and assist patients who need help getting around.
