Apprentice Roofer

Responsibilities:

Assist experienced roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems
Learn to properly use and maintain roofing tools and equipment
Help with the preparation of roofing materials and job sites
Assist in the removal of old roofing materials
Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols
Clean up work areas and properly dispose of debris
Assist in loading and unloading materials
Learn about different roofing techniques and materials

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced roofers
Reliable transportation to job sites
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Commitment to safety and following proper procedures
