Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Meat Butcher to join our vibrant food team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of meats to ensure the highest quality standards. Your expertise will help deliver fresh, delicious products to our customers while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices. Responsibilities

Carefully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meats using precise knife skills and meat cutting techniques
Ensure all meat products are handled, stored, and packaged according to food safety standards and regulations
Assist customers with their selections by providing knowledgeable advice on cuts and preparation methods
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory levels, rotate stock appropriately, and report any spoilage or quality issues promptly
Support food production and preparation tasks as needed to meet daily operational demands
Follow all food handling procedures to guarantee safe and hygienic food processing

Skills

Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments within the food industry or restaurant settings
Strong knife skills with the ability to perform precise meat cutting and trimming techniques
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Experience in packaging meats for retail or wholesale distribution
Familiarity with culinary techniques related to meat preparation and presentation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
