Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and inspire our cleaning team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards at the Newly Built Hotel Indigo Huntsville MidCity. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure the highest quality of service, and maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold cleanliness protocols, and foster a positive team culture that emphasizes attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Selected candidates will be contacted directly to schedule interviews.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all designated areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to meet and exceed cleanliness standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.
Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels based on occupancy forecasts and operational needs.
Address guest requests or concerns promptly with professionalism and a focus on service excellence.
Enforce health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience in housekeeping management within hospitality or janitorial services environments.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with hotel operations, guest service standards, and hospitality industry best practices.
Ability to conduct detailed inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions swiftly.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing supplies, schedules, and documentation.
Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, management, and guests professionally.
