Full Job Description

Label Aid is a leading flexographic and digital printing company specializing in high-quality labels, tags, and tape solutions for a diverse range of industries, including food and beverage, industrial, automotive, home and garden, horticulture, personal care, and nutraceuticals.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality products that consistently meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate flexographic presses based on job tickets and production schedules
Ensure correct materials are used, including cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers
Perform press-side quality checks (color, copy, registration, ink adhesion, and overall specifications)
Maintain consistent quality while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
Clean and maintain press equipment, including plates, cylinders, and ink systems
Keep work area clean and safe through daily housekeeping
Work closely with team members and communicate any issues or delays promptly
Assist with training and cross-training as needed

Qualifications:

Experience operating flexographic presses or similar printing equipment preferred
Strong knowledge of press operation, inks, substrates, and color matching
Ability to read job tickets, work orders, and production schedules
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and basic math/computer skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
High school diploma or equivalent required
