Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Team Member, where your enthusiasm and skills will help create delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant food service operation, supporting meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen efficiency. You will play a vital role in ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety, all while working alongside passionate culinary professionals. Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to established recipes and menu plans
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by following proper handling procedures and cleaning protocols
Support the culinary team with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, portioning, and assembling dishes
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety standards and dietary guidelines
Help with dishwashing, sanitizing workstations, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service
Assist with catering events or special meal requests as needed
Follow strict recipe adherence to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining a professional attitude

Experience

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous
Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry standards is beneficial
Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management practices and safe food handling procedures
Skills in knife techniques, slicing methods, and general culinary skills are desirable
Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and fryers
Ability to communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Previous catering experience or involvement in large-scale meal service is a plus
