Kasay Legal Services is a growing, client-focused law firm serving individuals, families, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and businesses in immigration, international, business, nonprofit, and general legal matters.

We are seeking an organized, dependable, detail-oriented Office Clerk who communicates professionally, provides exceptional customer service, manages multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support.

Position Summary

The Office Clerk will support attorneys and legal staff with client reception, office administration, scheduling, file management, document organization, data entry, and general clerical duties. This position serves as the first point of contact for many of our clients and plays an important role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the firm.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to general inquiries.
Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars.
Receive, sort, scan, copy, file, and organize client documents and correspondence.
Create, maintain, and organize electronic and physical client files.
Assist with data entry, document preparation, mailing, and office correspondence.
Receive and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and packages.
Maintain office supplies and assist with keeping the office organized and efficient.
Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive client information.
Assist with office administration and special projects as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of customer service experience in a professional office, legal office, healthcare, banking, retail, hospitality, or similar environment.
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, client-centered demeanor with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
Ability to quickly learn office procedures and software.

Preferred

Previous administrative, receptionist, or office clerk experience.
Experience working in a law office or other professional services environment.
Experience with document management, scheduling, or client intake.
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and legal case management software.

Language Skills

Fluency in French, Spanish, or another language commonly spoken within our client communities is strongly preferred.
