Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting both people and business operations? Otero Living is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to help manage key administrative, employee, and financial processes within our growing luxury home building and interior design company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both numbers and people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems
Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures ie 1099’s
Monitor outstanding payables and manage vendor relationships
Support financial reporting and special projects as needed
Reconcile credit card and bank statements
Maintain customer purchasing reports which are sent to clients on a bi-monthly basis

Qualifications

2+ Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or a related field
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and Quickbooks; Buildertrend a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and confidentiality practices
