Full Job Description

Overview
We are a growing dog grooming business looking for a reliable and hardworking Dog Bather to join our team! This is a part-time position with the opportunity for additional hours as our business continues to grow.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, low-stress grooming experiences for dogs of all ages and sizes. If you enjoy working with dogs, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized, we'd love to hear from you.

As a growing business, our grooming volume can vary. Some days may be lighter while we continue building our client base, while other days may be busier depending on demand. We're looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, and excited to grow with us.

Schedule:

Part-time
Approximately 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, or until all dogs are bathed and daily cleaning tasks are completed

Compensation:

$15.00/hour + tips

Responsibilities

Bathe, brush, blow dry, and prepare dogs for the groomers
Trim nails and clean ears when appropriate
Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages
Monitor dogs for any health concerns and notify the groomers of anything unusual
Maintain a clean and organized bathing and grooming area
Clean kennels, tubs, dryers, and grooming equipment throughout the day
Assist with salon laundry and general cleaning duties
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Help create a calm, positive experience for every pet

Qualifications

Previous experience working with dogs is preferred
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Able to stand for extended periods and lift dogs when necessary
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus (Not Required):

Professional bathing experience
Experience with force dryers and de-shedding techniques
Basic knowledge of dog breeds and coat types
