About this Role – Billing Clerk

We are looking for a talented Billing Clerk who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for reviewing all job costs and prepare customer invoices per contractual language, record sales and verify customer billings.

What You’ll Do

Provide clerical support for the department
Create job files
Review all job costs and supporting documentation
Prepare customer invoices per contractual language
Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
Assists with inputting or verifying data entry into customer billing programs and JDE
Assists with job closings

What You’ll Bring

A basic understanding of generally accepted accounting practices
Basic knowledge of general office procedures and practices
Demonstrated multi-tasking, data entry skills, and prioritizing
Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proven communication, organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills that includes experience with Microsoft Office applications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred)
Office/accounting experience preferred
