We’re looking for a tax professional who’s ready to move beyond basic returns and into more advanced, rewarding territory. Join our team and work at the intersection of tax preparation and tax resolution—a fast-growing, specialized area of practice where technical skill, critical thinking, and strategic advisory work come together.

This opportunity offers the chance to expand your tax expertise by working on more complex tax cases and opportunities for development in corporate tax —ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise and grow into a more elevated space within the tax industry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
Work on complex tax cases, including multi-entity and multi-state filings, with exposure to tax resolution strategies.
Provide thoughtful, informed tax guidance tailored to each client’s specific financial and business situation.
Stay up to date on evolving tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify new planning opportunities.
Build long-term client relationships through consistent communication, reliability, and professionalism.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year or 2 seasons of experience in tax preparation.
Solid understanding of individual and corporate (preferred) tax laws. Experience with more complex returns is a strong plus.
Active CTEC certification or EA license, valid PTIN, and current CTEC registration required.
Proficiency with tax software (ProSeries experience preferred).
Strong 10-key typing and high-volume data entry skills.
Capable of breaking down complex tax scenarios and providing practical, strategic solutions.
Clear, client-friendly communication skills, both verbal and written.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Self-sufficient, yet able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Comfortable with client outreach and engagement, with an understanding of how to present financial service offerings.
