Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products, uphold compliance with industry regulations such as NPCA certification requirements, ASTM standards, project specifications, and company quality standards.

Responsibilities

Sample and test concrete in accordance with ASTM procedures, preform slump, air content, temperature, and unit weight testing.
Cast and test concrete cylinders
Inspect reinforcement placement and embedded items prior to cement placement
Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and appearance.
Document inspection and testing results
Assist with NPCA certification audits and quality documentation
Identify and report non-conforming products
Maintain testing equipment and calibration records
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

High school diploma of GED required
Experience in concrete testing or precast manufacturing preferred
ACI Concrete Field Testing Grade I certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
Knowledge of ASTM testing procedures preferred
Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
