Description

What You’ll Do:

Safety
Participate in safety planning, proactively support hazard identification, and help reinforce a culture of zero injuries on all projects.
Client, Design Team, + Trade Partner Coordination
Build foundational relationships with customers, architects, engineers, trade partners, and community members through day-to-day interactions.
Support communication and coordination across design, engineering, ownership, and vendor partners to ensure expectations are aligned.
Assist the project team in identifying potential cost-savings, constructability considerations, and value-add solutions.
Participate in industry networking events to build relationships with potential future hires and/or build relationships with industry professionals.
Project Planning, Scheduling, + Procurement
Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in developing accurate schedules and sequencing plans.
Help coordinate procurement efforts, including tracking material needs and working with the Superintendent to prevent delivery delays.
Support monitoring of material deliveries and ensure conformance to specifications and contract documents.
Document Control + Project Updates
Prepare, review, maintain, and distribute project documents (RFIs, submittals, specifications, construction documents, ASIs, closeout items, etc.)
Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item lists for various project coordination meetings.
Assist with drafting and managing trade partner and vendor scope documents and subcontractor agreements
Assist with tracking key financial indicators such as budget updates and change management documentation.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
Prior experience as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer Intern in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry

Exceptional organization with an ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail
Proactive, resourceful, and eager to take ownership of your work and career
