Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of food safety, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, experienced in managing hospitality teams, and thrives in fast-paced, high-volume settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the culinary experience and contribute to the success of a vibrant dining establishment.

Duties

Be able to cook effectively and efficiently!

Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations through regular inspections and staff training
Lead staff training sessions on food handling, culinary techniques, and customer service best practices
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability while maintaining high service standards

Requirements

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food production and kitchen operations
Extensive knowledge of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting training & development sessions
Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, team leadership, and customer service interactions
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior casual dining experience is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Basic math skills for inventory management and financial analysis; culinary or kitchen experience highly valued

Pay: From $8.00 per hour
