About the Role

As a Precision CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in transforming raw materials into high-tolerance components that drive our production success. By leveraging your expertise in both Haas CNC systems and manual machining, you will ensure every part meets rigorous quality standards while optimizing manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

Configure and manage the operation of CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to achieve precise engineering specifications.
Translate complex blueprints and technical schematics into actionable machining sequences.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process bottlenecks and refining tooling setups for maximum efficiency.
Maintain equipment health through proactive troubleshooting and routine preventative maintenance schedules.
Uphold a culture of safety and precision by maintaining a highly organized and compliant workstation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production challenges and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Required Skills

Demonstrated professional experience in a machine shop environment.
Proficiency in operating and setting up Haas CNC vertical machining centers.
Strong command of manual machining techniques, including engine lathes and manual mills.
Advanced ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) on technical drawings.
Solid understanding of CNC tooling selection and material properties.

Preferred Skills

Technical degree or vocational certification in Precision Machining or related field.
Hands-on experience with CNC programming and G-code editing.
Proven track record of maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced production setting.
