Overview

Responsibilities

Build and manage a growing book of business through aggressive prospecting, territory development, and smart account management
Generate new opportunities daily via cold outreach, lead follow-up, referrals, and B2B networking
Uncover client needs quickly and recommend the right insurance solutions that create long-term value and trust
Negotiate, overcome objections, and close deals with confidence and urgency
Turn one-time buyers into loyal clients through consistent follow-up, upselling, and exceptional service
Master and leverage CRM tools to track activity, manage pipeline, and stay on top of every opportunity
Partner with marketing and the broader team to fuel brand visibility and keep a steady flow of new business coming in
Stay adaptable and curious as products, markets, and client needs continue to evolve — continuous learning is part of the job

Requirements

Proven sales track record (B2B, outside sales, inside sales, or technical sales preferred) with a history of hitting or exceeding targets
High energy, self-motivated, and competitive — you get excited by growth targets and new challenges
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative yet assertive approach
Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and learning new tools quickly
Ability to work independently while staying highly productive and accountable
Growth mindset: you want to expand your skills, take on more responsibility, and advance as the company scales
Experience with territory management and pipeline analysis is a plus
