We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Line Cook to join our team! Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate served.
Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation.
Handle food with care, following strict food safety guidelines to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation standards throughout shifts.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Support catering events by preparing large quantities of dishes while maintaining quality control.
Demonstrate excellent knife skills for precise cutting and prep work.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to promote safety and hygiene.
Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues as needed and maintaining professional communication.
Serve dishes with attention to presentation details that reflect our commitment to fine dining excellence or restaurant standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized dietary needs and food handling protocols.
Proven culinary experience in restaurant or food industry settings, especially within fine dining environments or catering services.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and menu planning processes.
Excellent knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Experience with food service operations including meal preparation, plating, and serving in fast-paced settings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing multiple tasks under pressure.
Knowledge of dietary restrictions and accommodations is a plus.
