Client Service Manager

Full Charge Bookkeeper

Remote - Arizona | Full-Time or Part-Time | Client-Focused Accounting

Prestige Accounting Solutions is a growing, cloud-based accounting firm that provides responsive, concierge-level bookkeeping and advisory support to small business clients. We take a proactive approach, helping clients understand their financial information and make informed business decisions throughout the year.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Client Service Manager (Full Charge Bookkeeper) who values accuracy, strong client relationships, and dependable follow-through. This role offers full-time or part-time hours and the opportunity to work remotely while serving as a trusted accounting partner to assigned clients.

Primary Responsibilities

· Serve as the primary accounting contact for an assigned group of small business clients.

· Manage clients’ bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online. Complete monthly closes and prepare adjusting entries for depreciation, loans, prepaid expenses, payroll, and other balance sheet items.

· Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and help clients understand their financial results.

· Facilitate client payroll processing and support payroll reporting, including W-2 and 1099 preparation through applicable technology platforms.

· Prepare and process state and local sales tax reports and filings.

· Assist clients with QuickBooks Online and related accounting processes.

· Integrate and support third-party applications connected to QuickBooks Online.

· Develop trusted, professional relationships with clients by learning their businesses, industries, priorities, and accounting needs.

· Communicate proactively with clients regarding missing information, deadlines, questions, and financial matters requiring attention.

· Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate, timely work and consistent firm processes.

Interpersonal and Client Relationship Skills

· Builds professional, responsive, and trustworthy relationships with clients and their team members.

· Communicates accounting information clearly and adjusts communication to the client's level of financial knowledge.

· Takes ownership of client work, follows through on commitments, and raises concerns promptly.

· Uses strong time-management and organizational skills to balance recurring deadlines and changing client needs.

· Approaches client service with curiosity, sound judgment, and a practical understanding of each client's business.

· Works collaboratively with colleagues, shares knowledge, and contributes to consistent best practices.

· Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and the firm's ethical standards in every client interaction.

Desired Qualifications

· Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

· At least two years of bookkeeping or private/public accounting experience.

· Hands-on experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and monthly close procedures.

· Strong QuickBooks Online skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Experience processing payroll, preparing sales tax filings, and supporting year-end reporting.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

· Experience working in a paperless, cloud-based environment preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and written and verbal communication skills.

· Positive, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
