Motion Medic Physical Therapy and Shockwave Clinic is a locally owned outpatient physical therapy practice in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team.
Our clinic specializes in orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric rehabilitation, with a focus on helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, regain independence, and return to the activities they enjoy.
We believe patients receive better care when clinicians have the time and resources to focus on them. Our clinic provides a 40-minute treatment model, allowing the PTA to provide meaningful, skilled care rather than rushing through high-volume visits.
You will work closely with the Physical Therapist to carry out individualized plans of care, monitor patient progress, and help patients achieve their functional goals.

What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist. You will play an important role in helping patients progress through their individualized plans of care and achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing skilled physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
- Performing therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and other appropriate interventions
- Assisting patients with improving strength, mobility, coordination, balance, and functional independence
- Providing patient education regarding exercises, home programs, safety, and functional mobility
- Monitoring patient response to treatment and communicating changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Progressing interventions appropriately within the established plan of care
- Collaborating with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and treatment needs
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Utilizing Prompt EMR and AI Scribe/dictation technology to make documentation more efficient
- Maintaining a professional, compassionate, and positive relationship with patients
- Participating in a team environment focused on excellent patient care
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a PTA who is:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Oregon
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered
- Motivated to provide high-quality individualized care
- Comfortable working with orthopedic and geriatric patients
- Strong in communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a collaborative PT/PTA team
- Organized and committed to timely, accurate documentation
- Interested in evidence-based rehabilitation and continued professional development
- Enthusiastic about helping patients achieve functional independence
