Essential Functions:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service streetlights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.

Responsibilities:

Ability to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.

Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at state and federal levels.

Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.

Work overtime when required (including weekends and/or holidays).

Qualifications Requirements/Knowledge/Education/Skills:

Technical College Electrician Degree.
Grado técnico de universidad preferido
Certified/Licensed Electrician awarded by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate equipments, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; sit; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
