Full Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Independent Contractor

Location: CENTRAL & NORTH San Diego County (Mobile + San Marcos Office)

Overview:

Join the premier mobile IV therapy business serving North and Central San Diego County! Mobile IV Wellness has been successfully providing IV therapy and wellness services for over three years, offering clients a wide variety of therapies to support hydration, recovery, and overall wellness.

As our service area continues to expand, we are growing our team and are seeking motivated and compassionate RNs or NPs to join us as Independent Contractors.

Current Hiring Priorities

We service North and Central San Diego County. Applicants should reside within our service area to ensure reasonable response times for mobile appointments.

Mobile Nurses

We are currently seeking to add two to four experienced mobile nurses to our growing team.
Availability is critical to success in this role. We are seeking contractors who can provide a balanced mix of weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. The more flexibility you offer across the week, the more opportunities you will have to receive appointment requests and grow your income.
Nurses with greater overall availability will have access to more appointment opportunities as our business continues to grow.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. While this is not a salaried or traditional hourly role, it includes flexible compensation options. Compensation details and contractor pay structures will be discussed during the interview process.

You will provide IV therapy, specialty infusions (including NAD+ and High Dose Vitamin C), and intramuscular injections to clients in their homes, hotels, workplaces, and other approved locations throughout North and Central San Diego County. Our services cater to a wide range of client needs, from hydration and recovery to long-term wellness optimization.

Duties

Administer IV infusions, specialty infusions, and intramuscular injections safely and effectively
Travel to clients' homes or workplaces for mobile appointments as needed
Deliver exceptional client care and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor
Accurately document services and follow all protocols
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked mobile workspace
Communicate effectively with clients about services, benefits, and options
Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and managed

Qualifications

IV Placement Skills: The number one requirement for this position is exceptional proficiency in IV placement. You must be highly skilled and confident in establishing IV access consistently, as no training for IV placement is provided.
Valid RN or NP license in the state of California
Current BLS certification
Proof of malpractice insurance, general liability insurance, and personal vehicle insurance
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Ability to travel throughout the service area you choose to support (North or Central San Diego County)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
Contractors with broad weekday availability, as well as evening, weekend, and holiday availability, will have the greatest opportunity to receive appointments.
