Are you outgoing, motivated, and looking for an opportunity where your work can make a real impact?

NONSENSE HUB is growing our nonprofit fundraising team and is looking for Entry-Level Sales & Fundraising Representative to represent nonprofit organizations through face-to-face community outreach.

This is an in-person position for individuals who enjoy talking to people, working as part of a team, and developing strong communication and leadership skills.

No previous sales experience is required. Training is provided.

What You'll Do

As an Entry-Level Fundraiser, you will:

Represent nonprofit organizations professionally in the community
Speak face-to-face with members of the public about nonprofit missions and programs
Educate potential supporters about the organizations we represent
Help acquire new donors through direct outreach
Maintain a positive and professional representation of our nonprofit partners
Participate in ongoing training and team development
Work toward individual and team fundraising goals

Compensation

This position offers:

Duties

Engage with community members through face-to-face conversations in outdoor settings, including door-to-door canvassing and public events

Conduct canvassing campaigns in neighborhoods, at events, or on the street to expand the organization’s outreach efforts
Build rapport with diverse audiences by utilizing strong conversational engagement and negotiation skills
Collaborate with team members to meet fundraising goals and strategize outreach approaches
Maintain professional appearance and conduct during outdoor work, demonstrating excellent customer service and community engagement experience

Qualifications

Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor work is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations with diverse populations
Bilingual abilities are a plus for reaching broader communities effectively
Experience in customer service, telemarketing, or face-to-face communication enhances success in this role
Ability to walk extensively outdoors, often using transportation methods such as walking or biking during outreach activities
Demonstrated ability to negotiate politely and effectively while representing the organization’s mission
Supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for future growth opportunities within the team
