Full Job Description

Credentialing Coordinator – Credentialing Department

The Credentialing Coordinator supports and coordinates credentialing activities under the direction of the Credentialing Manager.

Responsibilities:

Gathering necessary information to maintain database of clinician demographic information.
Follow up with appropriate staff and/or online databases to retrieve missing information, when necessary.
Ensure CAQH profiles are complete and attested with all appropriate documents.
Prepare any required ancillary forms and attachments for provider enrollment application submissions.
Prepare and submit various provider enrollment applications on appropriate health plan web portals.
Contacting health plans for follow up on provider enrollment applications.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualities and Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to prioritize work and do repetitive tasks.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF required.
Knowledge of provider enrollment and its direct impact on the revenue cycle preferred.
Working knowledge of EMR systems and SharePoint preferred.
Associate or Bachelor degree in business management or related health field preferred.
Behavioral Health/ Applied Behavioral Analysis experience preferred.
