FlexTrades is hiring an EDM Machinist to support the production of precision components used in advanced aerospace and defense applications. In this role, you will operate wire and sinker EDM machines, inspect finished parts, and work with extremely small, high-precision components while maintaining quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
- Operate CNC EDM machines, including wire and sinker EDM equipment
- Load and unload parts and monitor machine operations
- Run production jobs according to established procedures
- Inspect completed parts to ensure quality requirements are met
- Operate and monitor up to two EDM machines simultaneously
- Use measuring and inspection equipment as required
- Identify and report quality concerns or machining issues
- Handle small, delicate precision components with care
- Follow manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Experience operating EDM machines preferred
- Experience with wire EDM and/or sinker EDM preferred
- CNC machine operation experience required
- CNC lathe experience considered transferable experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or drawings
- Experience performing part inspections and quality checks
- Ability to work with very small, precision-machined components
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Manufacturing environment experience required
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $40/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Pay to and from the project
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
