Line Cook

Mad Chef Craft Brewing – East Petersburg, PA

Pay: $7.25/hour + tip-share

Average earnings: $8+/hour minimum with tip-share

Founded in 2014, Mad Chef Craft Brewing has become one of Pennsylvania’s premier brewpub destinations, pairing award-winning craft beer with an innovative, chef-driven food program. As one of the largest local microbreweries in the region, we’ve recently expanded both our production capacity and brewhouse operations — and we’re continuing to grow.

Our kitchen has earned the Breweries in PA Reader’s Choice Award for Best Food at a PA Brewery two years in a row, thanks to our constantly rotating specials, high-quality ingredients, and an incredible kitchen team.

We operate a fast-paced, open-kitchen concept featuring five stations:

- Pizza

- Sandwich

- Sauté

- Fry

- Cold/Prep

Position Summary

Mad Chef Craft Brewing is seeking reliable, hardworking Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works well under pressure, communicates effectively, and takes pride in producing quality food in a high-volume environment.

## Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items on assigned stations

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations

- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

- Plate and present dishes according to restaurant standards

- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

- Ensure food quality, proper temperatures, and portion consistency

- Assist with service flow and ticket times during busy shifts

- Learn and work multiple kitchen stations as needed

- Complete additional kitchen duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Pantry Cook, or similar role preferred

- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment

- Understanding of proper food handling and kitchen safety

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- At least 1 year of restaurant experience preferred

Availability Needed

- Day shifts

- Night shifts

- Weekends

- Holidays as needed
