Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a steakhouse or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of steak cuts, cooking techniques, and temperatures.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing high-quality meals, particularly steaks, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through expert preparation, presentation, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of steak cuts to guest specifications, ensuring proper doneness and presentation.
Follow recipes and standardized procedures to prepare additional menu items such as sides, appetizers, and desserts.
Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to food safety standards.
Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, broilers, fryers, and ovens, safely and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas, adhering to sanitation and hygiene regulations.
Manage inventory, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely meal delivery.
Stay updated on steakhouse industry trends, cooking techniques, and ingredient sourcing.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
