Full Job Description

Marketing Manager is to act as a brand ambassador for Popeyes in Laredo and El Paso managing all Marketing & Public Relations efforts to ensure a positive growth in Sales and Brand Awareness. As the Marketing Manager, you will take the lead role in fostering a positive relationship with the community working towards building and maintaining successful business partnerships with local entities (ie, schools, churches, non profit-groups) to expand the catering program. You will be expected to serve the restaurants in any capacity and willing to support the Operations Team to meet the daily needs of the business. As a member of the Popeyes Team you will work directly with Popeyes Corporate Marketing Team to ensure continued sales growth and execute and coordinate all marketing/ advertising strategies. When planning and implementing marketing initiatives, you will be expected to think both strategically and operationally and ensure promotions are implemented in accordance to Popeyes Standards. You will be responsible for managing local marketing budget (community events, giveaways, sponsorship and donations).

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities including National/ Local TV, Digital and Print Media.
Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results.
Coordinate and lead promotions to increase sales and traffic.
Market catering services to local businesses, non-profits, and schools to secure new business and maintain repeat customers.
Manage day to day operations of catering such as preparing catered order forms, ordering of catering brochures/ flyers and distribution of catering supplies.
Engage with community to drive sales and enhance guest experience thru events & local promotions.
Leverage PR opportunities.
Coordinate community events and order all necessary promotional items.
Responsible for developing and executing promotions to effectively attract new customers.
Execute local market advertising and media process by collaborating with Corporate Marketing Team.
Oversee launch of LTOs by ensuring proper execution of POP and ensuring restaurant staff is aware of new promotions.
Manage and oversee partnerships with home delivery aggregators (Favor, Grubhub, UberEats & Bitesquad). Will be responsible for updating hours of operation, pricing, item availability, and generating sales reports.
Update DMB (SICOM)/ Stratacache with LTO's and new product rollouts
Attend leadership meetings and work closely with leadership team to discuss current and future marketing activities.
Work closely with Above Restaurant Leaders to ensure proper inventory, equipment and staffing at restaurants and communicate proactively to regarding upcoming promotions.
Assist with making commitments for new product rollouts and LTO's
