Job Title: Community Support Worker (CSW) / Caseworker

The Role Please note: This position is strictly for nights and weekends only. We are seeking a highly committed and compassionate Community Support Worker (CSW) or Caseworker to provide crucial after-hours and weekend coverage. With a strong background in addiction treatment, you will serve as a vital pillar of support during these essential shifts. This is not just a job; it is a calling that requires a deep commitment to the recovery journey and the operational excellence required to support it.
You will be responsible for comprehensive case management, providing empathetic support, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care in the community and within our programs. You must be prepared to execute "warm hand-offs"—assisting any client in need with validation and respect, regardless of whether they are on your direct schedule.

Accountability: You will be trusted with sensitive information and vulnerable individuals. We expect total transparency, punctuality, and a proactive approach to your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a dedicated caseload of clients navigating addiction and dual-diagnosis challenges, while remaining available to support the broader agency census.
Facilitate evidence-based support, skill-building, and crisis intervention.
Maintain strict, real-time calendar accuracy for all client appointments, community visits, and administrative blocks.
Complete all required documentation (including perfectly formatted 3-paragraph DAP notes) with precision, adhering strictly to a 24- to 48-hour submission rule to ensure total compliance.
Develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive support and relapse prevention plans.
Collaborate seamlessly with facility staff, ensuring all safety, curfew, and security protocols are upheld to protect the therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of casework experience in addiction recovery or a related behavioral health field.
Active certification or credentialing as a Community Support Worker (CSW) or Caseworker in the state of New Mexico, or the ability to attain certification.
Proven, hands-on background working directly in addiction recovery and behavioral health support.
An impeccable record of ethical conduct and a deep understanding of advanced HIPAA protections and client rights.
High level of tech-savviness, including proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and real-time digital calendar management.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain organized, compliant, and timely progress notes.
Valid New Mexico Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely transport or coordinate logistics for clients in the community.
Ability to pass a comprehensive state/federal background check and drug screening.
A resilient, dedicated work ethic with a genuine passion for showing humanity and empathy to those in recovery.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
