Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Budtender, where your passion for cannabis products and exceptional customer service will shine! In this energetic role, you will serve as the friendly face of our dispensary, guiding customers through their purchasing journey with expert knowledge and personalized recommendations. Your enthusiasm and product expertise will help create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and builds lasting relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the evolving cannabis industry, making a positive impact on our community while developing valuable retail skills.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, understanding their needs, and offering tailored product suggestions.
Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories, through engaging product demos and detailed explanations.
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing the cash drawer with accuracy.
Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise displays, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment aligned with merchandising standards.
Conduct upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Manage retail store product knowledge to answer questions confidently and provide accurate information about product effects, dosing, and safety precautions.
Handle phone inquiries professionally using excellent phone etiquette and direct customers to appropriate staff or resources as needed.

Experience

Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a customer-focused environment such as dispensaries or specialty stores.
Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash handling procedures is essential.
Strong communication skills to engage with customers clearly and confidently while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
Knowledge of retail store product merchandising and inventory stocking practices.
Experience conducting product demos or educational sessions enhances customer engagement and sales success.
