Full-Time Dispensary Agent (Budtender) for Laurel!

Green Point Wellness is a locally owned and operated medical cannabis dispensary, offering benefits to patients from three different locations. Green Point Wellness has been committed to offering our patients the highest standard of customer service found in the industry without exceptions. We believe that by assembling a team of the most educated, knowledgeable and skilled professionals in the cannabis industry, we could not only make a patients day better, but truly make a difference in their overall quality of life. Our company’s mission has always been to help people in the communities we serve improve their quality of life – not only by empowering our customers to experience the benefits of cannabis as an alternative form of medicine – but also by helping them find the best form of cannabis for their specific situation.

DUTIES (include but not limited to):

Daily dispensary operations; consulting with patients, answering phones, educating and informing patients while maintaining compliant with COMAR regulations.
Provide high quality customer service to all patients.
Verify patient profiles with the state tracking and point of sale system.
Filing of important documents and other clerical tasks.
Understand and learn our inventory and point of sale system.
Cash management
Engage with patients, visitors, and staff members with a positive upbeat attitude.
Execute dispensary protocols, while ensuring the store is well maintained
Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Flexibility with working all positions; front desk, budtender, scale and front door. Majority of time will be working at as a budtender.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to meet the Maryland State Requirements: Minimum of 21 years old, no drug-related charges, drug screen and background check.
Minimum 2 years customer service is preferred
Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment if preferred
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required (flexible schedule).
Must be reliable and hardworking. Our employees should embody our value as a company with a professional appearance.
Desire to learn about our products in order to assist patients; must have a passion for medical cannabis
Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality
Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computing skills
Experience in the industry is not required
