Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)Autism & Neurodevelopmental Assessment Specialist

Help Children and Families Find Answers

Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children (BBSC) is seeking a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) to join our growing multidisciplinary team specializing in autism and neurodevelopmental assessment services.

This position is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping children and families better understand developmental, behavioral, social, and emotional differences through comprehensive, evidence-based evaluations.

At BBSC, we believe that accurate diagnosis is the first step toward meaningful intervention and lasting change. We are committed to providing high-quality, family-centered evaluations that help children access the services and support they need to thrive.

About the Role

The LPA will focus primarily on conducting autism spectrum disorder evaluations and related neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adolescents.

The successful candidate will work closely with families, behavioral health professionals, schools, and medical providers to provide diagnostic clarity and treatment recommendations that improve outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations for children and adolescents.
Administer and score psychological and developmental assessment instruments.
Conduct caregiver interviews and developmental history reviews.
Complete diagnostic assessments related to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and related conditions.
Prepare clear, clinically sound evaluation reports.
Provide feedback sessions to families regarding assessment findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with BBSC behavioral health, ABA, TRP, and outpatient teams.
Participate in interdisciplinary case consultation and treatment planning.

Preferred Assessment Experience

Experience with some or all of the following is preferred:

ADOS-2
CARS-2
Vineland-3
ABAS-3
SRS-2
BASC-3
Conners
Developmental and adaptive functioning assessments
Autism diagnostic interviewing

QualificationsRequired

Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) in Kentucky or eligible for Kentucky licensure.
Master's degree in psychology or related field.

Preferred

Autism diagnostic assessment experience.
Experience conducting psychological or developmental evaluations.
Knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Experience collaborating with schools and community providers.
Familiarity with evidence-based assessment tools.
