Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AutoCAD Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, manage office operations, and facilitate effective communication across departments. Your expertise in AutoCAD, combined with strong clerical and office management skills, will ensure smooth workflow and accurate project documentation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer literacy, multitasking abilities, and a professional approach to client and team interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing, editing, and managing AutoCAD drawings and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards
Provide front desk support by greeting visitors, managing multi-line phone systems, and directing calls professionally
Handle data entry tasks with precision, including updating project files, client information, and administrative records
Manage calendar appointments, schedule meetings, and coordinate project deadlines efficiently
Utilization of Microsoft Excel to create and edit existing spreadsheets.
Maintain organized filing systems for project documents, correspondence, and confidential information
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email, providing exceptional customer service and support
Oversee office supplies inventory and coordinate office management tasks to ensure operational efficiency
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution or submission
Handle personal assistant duties as needed, including travel arrangements or special project support

Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of administrative experience within an office environment, preferably supporting design or engineering teams. Prior experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with specific experience in Excel and Teams, strong typing skills, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, time management capabilities, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Previous experience in office management or clerical roles involving bookkeeping or client communication will be considered advantageous.
