Job Summary

DINNER SHIFT ONLY

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This energetic position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced hospitality setting, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Your dedication helps keep our kitchen running smoothly and ensures a safe environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently.
Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision.
Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishes to the dishwashing area.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by regularly sanitizing workstations, floors, and storage areas.
Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies safely according to kitchen health and safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning schedules during busy service hours.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and basic cooking tools safely.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling tasks.
Basic knife skills and familiarity with food handling procedures are advantageous.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving in a hospitality setting.
