Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Baker/Baking Assistant to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be at the heart of our bakery operations, creating delicious baked goods and supporting the production process. Your enthusiasm for baking and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional products to our customers. Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and standards
Assist with food production tasks such as mixing, measuring, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using various cake decorating techniques to meet customer specifications
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and other baking tools
Package baked items carefully for display or delivery while ensuring product quality and presentation standards are met
Support high-volume production during busy periods by preparing ingredients and assisting with assembly line tasks

Skills

Proven experience in pastry preparation, baking, or food production within a fast-paced environment
Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling safety standards
Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry artistry
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and packaging
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately
Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude towards team members and clients
Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume setting
Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards
Catering experience or high-volume production experience is a plus but not required
