Medical Receptionist – Pediatric Practice (Full-Time)
Pay: $17.50–$18.50/hour DOE + Benefits

Pediatric Medical Group of Santa Maria, Inc. is hiring an experienced Medical Receptionist for our busy, well-established pediatric medical office on California’s Central Coast.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional with medical front office experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Medical receptionist / front desk duties
Patient check-in and greeting
Answering and routing multi-line phone calls
Appointment scheduling
Insurance verification and eligibility
Data entry in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
Medical office correspondence
Working closely with clinical and administrative staff

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
3–5 years of medical receptionist or healthcare front office experience preferred
Typing speed of 35 WPM or higher
Strong computer and EMR skills
Excellent phone etiquette and patient service skills
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Ability to work varying shifts Monday–Friday (7:30 AM–5:30 PM) and occasional Saturdays

Compensation & Benefits

$17.50–$18.50 per hour to start (DOE)
Annual performance-based raises
