SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Tax & Audit)

CPA certification required

Devin & Associates, Inc., a growing, full-service public accounting firm located in Westlake, OH, provides tax, audit, accounting, and consulting services to Corporations and various individual tax clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated team player with 3+ years of recent public accounting experience to assist with tax and attestation engagements for a diverse roster of clients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations
Work on attestation engagements during the firm’s non-tax season
Address and resolve complex tax issues
Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including tax planning, compliance, consulting and financial statement analysis
Be a valued resource to staff members
Build professional client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of client’s business

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of recent public accounting experience progressing in scope and responsibilities
CPA certification required
Ability to train and develop junior staff
Knowledge of Federal and state income tax laws with the ability to remain abreast of tax regulations and trends
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (UltraTax software proficiency is a plus and preferred)
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with clients and all levels of staff and develop strong client relationships
