Operations & Client Service Associate at Grand Central Investment Group

Are you a tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys wearing many hats and solving problems? Join Grand Central Investment Group, a boutique Registered Investment Advisor firm located in South Tampa. We’re seeking an Operations & Client Service Associate to support client service, reporting, technology, financial planning platform work, and special projects across the firm. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, working with data and systems, supporting financial planning workflows, improving processes, and contributing wherever help is needed.

This full-time position is a versatile, hands-on role that blends client service associate responsibilities with operations, reporting, technology, financial planning support, and project work. While this is not primarily an advisory role at the outset, we want to emphasize that the right candidate will have a meaningful opportunity to grow over time into a financial planner or advisor path.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform client service associate responsibilities, including client communication, account paperwork, transfers, distributions, deposits, account opening, and other service-related requests.

· Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients by phone, in person, and virtually, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and responsiveness.

· Use multiple industry specific technology platforms to support client service, reporting, compliance, and internal workflows.

· Provide support for the firm’s financial planning platform, MoneyGuidePro, including data entry, plan updates, report preparation, and related workflow support.

· Assist with technology-focused projects, including website updates, process improvements, data organization, and manipulating Excel spreadsheets.

· Support onboarding and help clients navigate online platforms and digital tools.

· Maintain records and files with a compliance audit mindset and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

· Pitch in on a wide variety of office, operations, and special projects as needs arise.

What You Bring:

· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent client service associate experience with a Financial Advisor, RIA, or broker-dealer. REQUIRED

· SIE required; preference given for Series 65.

· Ability to generate reports in multiple industry specific technology platforms

· Strong interest in technology, systems, process improvement, and learning new software platforms.

· Advanced comfort with Microsoft Excel, including organizing, cleaning, and manipulating spreadsheets.

· Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, pivot priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail.

· Strong communication and listening skills, with professionalism and confidentiality in managing sensitive client information.

· Ability to work effectively with clients and a genuine interest in helping attract, build, and strengthen client relationships over time.

· Curiosity, initiative, flexibility, and a “jack of all trades” mindset.
