Line Cook – Tiger Sun Restaurant & Lounge

Location: Lynchburg, VAJob Type: Full-Time / Part-TimePay: Competitive, based on experience

Tiger Sun Restaurant & Lounge is hiring dependable and motivated Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. We’re looking for people who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain high food-quality standards, and work well with the rest of the BOH team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and food quality
Complete prep work and restock the line as needed
Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Keep up with service during high-volume periods
Follow direction from the Sous Chef and kitchen leadership

Qualifications

Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical kitchen duties
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required
