Full Job Description

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of clerical duties including, but not limited to file auditing, sorting mail, processing DMV documentation, preparing loan approvals/denials, maintenance of file vault, etc. Processes paid loan report and VISA maintenance report. Establishes new VISA accounts on VISA data system as approved by loan officers. Has Mortgage, Home Equity, and CUDL lending experience.

Greets members and accepts loan applications. Answers basic questions regarding loan eligibility and/or lending criteria. Cross sells credit union products and services. obtains verification of income, credit reports and other required documentation. ensures completeness and accuracy of applications prior to referring the request to a loan officer for evaluation and approval. May assist in disbursing approved loans to members. Assist with auditing booked loan files, Auto Insurance follow up, Collateral protection insurance add on and or apply credit. Balance general ledger. assist with DMV title follow up. Process non-sufficient fund checks, Balance at the end of the day daily transactions.

Operates credit union PBX system to receive and direct incoming telephone calls to proper department/person. Performs other duties as directed by the department supervisor.

Responsible for satisfactorily implementing and participating in the sales program, the business development program and member service culture adopted by the credit union.

Experience and Training: High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Knowledge of PBX system operations. PC skills required. Minimum of one-year general business experience required. Prior financial institution experiences desirable.
