Our sales team is expanding! We’re searching for an experienced individual with a knack for design to join our team as a Sales Designer. Bring your creativity aboard to grow and flourish while helping clients transform their spaces into something truly special!

Job description:

Communication, time management and adjusting to each client as needed are essential to this position. Candidates should already consider themselves a sales or design professional who is ready to take their career to the next level. There are no two projects alike. Consultations are held in our showroom, on a new construction site or at the customer’s existing home. Extensive training is provided.

At The Tailored Closet and Premier Garage our focus is on custom storage solutions for all areas of the home such as closets, pantries, laundry and mudrooms along with cabinets, overhead or wall storage and concrete floor coating systems for the garage.

Requirements

· Closet or Cabinet Design experience required. Pay is based according to level of experience.

· Travel in the Madison, Milwaukee and surrounding areas (no overnights)

· Valid WI Driver’s License

· Reliable, Insured vehicle required (Mileage Reimbursed)

· Ability to read a tape measure to accurately measure and draw out space

· Workflow Management: Lead tracking and Sales reporting

· Computer navigation and familiar with MS Office

· Organization and Time Management skills

· Customer service and communication skills

· Motivated, energetic and self-sufficient

Responsibilities

· Attend appointments at Customer's home, in our Showroom or via Zoom

· Manage clients while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the design process.

· Collaborate with clients to build customized design plans that align with their vision and budget.

· Create effective layout designs that optimize space utilization while enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal using our unique software program.

· Interpret drawings and blueprint construction sets

· Creative thought process with a focus on attention to detail

· Networking with current builders and clients while generating new leads
