Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part Time Cook to join our culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal updates that appeal to diverse tastes.
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and serving meals promptly to guests or clients.
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods and special catering events.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Strong food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus.
