Job Overview

We are seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, interfacing with vendors, ordering food and supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Oversee food safety practices in compliance with local health regulations; conduct regular sanitation checks and staff training on proper handling procedures.
Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills, improve teamwork, and promote a positive work environment.
Coordinate shift schedules and manage labor costs
Ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver seamless service experiences.
Consult with the General Manager on the menu and daily food specials

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining environments.
Proven ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Excellent organizational skills with experience in inventory control, and food safety management.
Demonstrated leadership in training staff on food safety standards, food handling procedures, and customer service excellence.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting; experience with shift management is essential.
Exceptional communication skills for interviewing candidates, providing staff training & development, and managing managerial tasks confidently.
Bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
