Busy Bergen County Physical Therapy clinic looking for a front desk receptionist/ office administrator to perform office duties.

Candidates must handle all administrative duties in the front but are also not limited to assisting the billing manager, assisting physical therapists and performing light physical therapy aide duties to ensure smooth operations in the clinic.

Skills/Qualifications

Excellent at multitasking

Must be a team player

Excellent customer service

Must be detail oriented

Excellent communication skills

Ability to problem solve independently

Must be accountable, punctual and professional

Responsibilities

Scheduling patients

Calling patients for appointment reminders

Take incoming calls and relay and take down messages

Respond to emails in a prompt manner

Stay in constant communication with physical therapists and supporting staff

Verify insurance benefits

Authorize visits when necessary

Scanning/Faxing Files

Data entry using different platforms in clinic

Collecting patient copay's/payments

Assist Physical Therapists with any administrative needs

Keep track of referrals

Provide custom clinic reports

Light physical therapy aide duties (when necessary)

Minimal marketing duties for enhancement of the company

Experience

Medical Office front desk experience of 2+ years preferred

High quality hospitality and customer service experience of 2+ years preferred
Sales Background Highly-Preferred

Prompt for scheduling

Navinet for verification of insurance

Familiar with commercial insurance/WCOMP/MVA

Google Drive- Docs, Sheets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
