Our upscale salon in Norwell, Massachusetts, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Hybrid Receptionist/Apprentice to join our team. This unique role offers you the chance to showcase your cosmetology skills, learn the business, and build a loyal clientele, all while receiving training in both the fundamentals and the latest trends in hair styling.

About Us: Nestled in Norwell, just off of rt 53, our salon is a hub of creativity and innovation. We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve in hair styling trends and delivering top-notch customer service. As a Hybrid Receptionist/Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in this dynamic environment and grow both your skills and your career.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and engage clients with professionalism and warmth.
Manage reception duties, including scheduling and coordination.
Assist senior stylists and gain hands-on experience with clients.
Learn the latest techniques and trends in hair styling.
Participate in training sessions to refine your skills.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a pristine salon atmosphere.
Gradually build your own clientele under expert guidance.

Requirements:

Current cosmetology license in the state of Massachusetts.
Strong passion for the art of hair styling and beauty.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Organizational skills to manage reception responsibilities.
Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
Ability to trust the process and accept coaching is an absolute must.
