SUMMARY - The Delivery & Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all delivery operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service to customers. This position oversees drivers, dispatchers, and scheduling personnel while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and team development. The Delivery & Logistics Manager works closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and uninterrupted delivery service.
WORK HOURS - Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break. Additional hours may be required during peak business periods to meet operational demands and customer needs. This may include evenings, weekends, and attendance at occasional after-hours meetings, training sessions, and company events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Promote efficient communication, teamwork, and positive working relationships among employees, customers, and management.
· Direct and oversee the daily activities, scheduling, and performance of drivers, dispatchers, and delivery support personnel.
· Develop and implement processes that improve delivery efficiency, productivity, and workflow.
· Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and industry standards.
· Assures appropriate driver safety training and monthly safety meetings are maintained.
· Conduct regular delivery office, driver, and distribution meetings to communicate company updates, operational changes, and performance expectations.
· Maintain a strong customer-service focus and ensure adherence to company policies that support positive customer relationships.
· Investigate, resolve, and oversee customer concerns and complaints related to deliveries.
· Generate, analyze, and present operational reports and key performance metrics to the management team.
· Participate in strategic planning to improve delivery performance, route efficiency, and resource utilization.
· Serve as a point of contact for on-call drivers during off-hours and provide operational support as needed.
· Conduct periodic inspections of company vehicles to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper operating condition.
· Maintain communication and coordination with all departments to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
· Assist with departmental and company-wide initiatives and provide operational support where needed.
· Perform duties of team members within the department when necessary to ensure continuity of service.
· Support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance management efforts for delivery personnel.

Manager Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees within the Delivery Department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees.
- Planning, assigning, and directing work to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
- Establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing employees to maximize individual and team performance.
- Recognizing and rewarding employee achievements and contributions.
- Addressing performance concerns through corrective action and disciplinary processes when necessary.
- Promoting a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Managing employee schedules, staffing levels, and workload distribution.
- Resolving employee concerns, customer issues, and operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
