Full Job Description

Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location: Mansfield, OH
Start Date: 09/14/2026 (Tentative)
Contract: 13 Weeks (potential extension)
Shift: Nights | 3×12 Hours | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend; every other holiday
Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
Pay-range: $50.00 - $55.00/hr

Position Overview

OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in a busy Emergency Department. The ED is a Level II Trauma Center and provides care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. (BI02)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
TNCC preferred
Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
Travel experience not required
Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy
Ability to start and maintain IVs
Blood product administration
Central line care/management
BiPAP/CPAP management
Care of ventilated patients
ABG interpretation
IV vasopressors and continuous IV sedation
Procedural sedation administration/monitoring
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Triage experience
Isolation precautions/PPE
Pediatric and adult emergency care

Patient Population / Diagnoses

Experience with patients presenting with:

Respiratory distress
Chest pain / STEMI
Sepsis
Stroke
Trauma/MVC
Falls and head injuries
Abdominal pain
UTI

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
