Full Job Description

Are you looking to start or grow your career in dentistry? First Choice Dental is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Entry-Level Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an active New Jersey X-Ray License who is eager to learn and build a long-term career in dentistry. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in keeping our office running efficiently by:

Assisting doctors and clinical staff during patient treatment
Maintaining sterilization and infection control protocols
Preparing treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
Ensuring instruments and supplies are properly cleaned, organized, and stocked
Helping maintain efficient office and patient flow throughout the day
Taking digital dental radiographs
Providing exceptional customer service to patients and families
Assisting with additional clinical duties as assigned

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Dental Radiologic (X-Ray) License is required
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Dental assisting experience is a plus but not required—we are happy to train the right individual
Dentrix experience is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
