Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor maintenance, landscaping, & self development. This role involves performing various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties are well-maintained and visually appealing. The Lawn Technician will work outdoors in different weather conditions, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking team members to help us maintain residential and commercial properties during our primary mowing season (March–October). We will keep you working as late in the season as possible. We will fill out the off season months with Holiday Lighting, Fall leaf clean-ups, Snow Removal, Junk removal ETC. As a Lawn Care Technician, you’ll operate professional-grade equipment and follow established systems to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Compensation & Schedule
At AUGUSTA we believe in Pay-4-Performance (P4P), P4P is a commission-based pay structure where the more efficient you are at completing jobs the more money you will make. It rewards our high performers for their effort and weeds out the low performers that arent a good fit.
- Pay: $18/hr base pay + performance bonuses (Most first-season team members earn $20–$25/hr, with experienced team members earning up to $32/hr)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Typical Hours: 30–40+ per week during the March–October season, Holiday Light installs begin in late October-November, Fall Leaf Clean-ups in December, Winter Services/Snow Removal as needed in the off season (Jan-Feb)
Duties
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns using mowers, trimmers, and other power tools
- Recurring Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping Projects
- Daily equipment maintenance and fueling
- Safe, proper use of all Vehicles, tools and machines
- Using mobile apps to track jobs and communicate with the office
- Mulch installation
- Work well with others or independently
- Represent the company professionally on every property
What We are Looking For
- Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is a plus
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail in outdoor maintenance tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver’s license required for equipment operation or transportation needs
- Team player who shows up on time, ready to work
- Comfortable using technology and mobile apps daily
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
