Position Overview – Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to play a vital role in our team. Your expertise will guide patients through comprehensive assessments, provide mental health counseling, and develop treatment plans that empower individuals toward emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth assessments to determine patients’ needs and strengths.
Provide expert mental health counseling, offering guidance and support.
Develop individualized intake and treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to enhance care coordination.
Maintain precise and timely documentation of assessments and progress.
Offer compassionate support to patients and families during intake and counseling.
Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Fully Licensed Counselors receive 50% of the reimbursement from insurance or patient payments.

2. Hourly Pay with Bonus Incentives (_Piece‑Rate / Billable Hour Compensation_)

Counselors are paid hourly based on their licensure status, structured as a piece‑rate compensation system, whereby compensation is earned based on billable units of direct patient services performed, rather than a guaranteed number of work hours, with additional bonus opportunities tied to billable hours:

Fully Licensed Counselors:
$45 per hour base pay
Bonus incentives:
Earn $2.50 extra per hour when reaching 32 billable hours per week, increasing pay to $47.50 per hour

Fully Licensed Counselors:
$1,400 per week | $72,800 annually – Competitive salary reflecting expertise and impact.

Patient Care Requirement Counselors are expected to dedicate 80% of their work time to direct patient care, within 60 days of their start date, ensuring a focused and impactful clinical practice. Work-Life Balance & Stability

Full-time counselors work a set schedule, either four or five days per week, determined at the time of hiring—no unpredictable hours or last-minute changes!
