Registered Nurse (RN) Respiratory Clinic

Job Type: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE or 80 hours/pp

Schedule: 8-hour Day shifts, M-F (7:30a-4pm or 8a-4:30p)

Join our Respiratory Clinic in Marquette, Michigan, and make a meaningful impact on patients living with chronic and acute pulmonary conditions. As an RN, you'll work alongside a collaborative, multi-disinplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This role offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, provide education that improves quality of life, and contribute to a supportive environment that values teamwork, professional growth, and work-life balance in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula.

How you'll contribute

A Clinic RN who excels in this role:

Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Assists with procedures and documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).

Additional requirements include

Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
